First I want to explain what I have called the 'free day'. I have used other menu planning services and found that there was always one day that my family would eat out. The free day is the opportunity for you to either eat out, catch up to my meals if you are behind, or make something that you or your family loves.

4 Corn Bread
4 Dinner rolls
Baking Supplies
4 tablespoons (corn starch) Corn flour
5 tablespoons Flour - white
5 tablespoons White corn meal
Basic Cooking Ingredients
3 tablespoons Olive oil
3 1/2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
Beverages
4 tablespoons Lime juice
1/8 cup Lime juice
Canned Foods
Fruit cocktail or Fresh fruit
1 can Black beans
1 can Cannellini beans
1 (16 oz) can with red and green peppers Corn
1 (15 oz) can with garlic and onion Tomatoes diced in puree
Dairy, Eggs and Milk
5 tablespoons Butter
1/2 cup Grated parmesan cheese
Ethnic Foods
1/3 cup Soy sauce
8 burrito size Flour tortillas
2 (16 oz) jar your favorite Salsa
Frozen Foods
10 ounces Green beans
10 ounces Broccoli
Frozen pizzas or order out
Herbs and Spices
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoon Ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon Paprika
2 teaspoon Garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
1 teaspoon Thyme
1/2 teaspoon Ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon Chili powder
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Ground cumin
Meats, Fish and Seafood
4 boneless skinless halves Chicken breasts
12 ounces boneless Round Steak
4 Fish Fillets
3/4 pound Chicken breasts
1 pound Ground turkey
Pasta, Rice and Beans
1 cup Brown rice
8 ounces Spaghetti
Produce
2 Salad mix and fixn’s
6 cloves Garlic
2 Carrots
2 large Onions
3/4 cup Red onion
1 Red bell pepper
1 cup Cilantro
Soup
1/2 cup Chicken broth
Be sure to check you refrigerator and pantry for any of these items that you already have. Also, don't forget to add items for breakfast, lunch and every day items. Going grocery shopping is much easier if you have a list of everything you need.
