Tacos

Ingredients
12 taco shells
1 pound ground beef
1 large onion
1 can condensed, tomato soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
salsa
shredded lettuce
diced tomatoes

Make your own taco seasoning mix. Click here to find out how.

Directions

  1. Place the beef in an extra-deep 12-inch skillet over medium heat.
  2. Begin browning the beef, stirring often to break up the meat.
  3. Meanwhile, peel and coarsely chop the onion, adding it to the skillet as you chop.
  4. Cook, stirring often, until all the meat is crumbled and cooked.
  5. Drain meat of oil.
  6. Add taco seasoning, condensed tomato soup and cook until heated through, stirring often at a low temperature.

I lay out all the filling options so people can make their own. I actually like added the Mexican rice to the taco if I can find room.

Let me know what you think of this easy and fun dinner.

Freezer Friendly Tip: You can make extra meat and freeze it. You can use it for taco's, burritos, quesadillas, or even taco salads!

My meat mixture was not as thick as I would like so I added rolled oats to it. I let it cook it until they are soft. It will add some good heart stuff to your meal without anyone knowing. It also extends your meat.
