Keep Celery Good Longer

Thank you goes out to my Uncle Thurman, and Mom for this next tip.

Celery is one of those vegetables that are great to have on hand. You can throw some celery in salads, stews, or have it with peanut butter when you just need something crunchy to eat. But, do you find that your celery looses its crunch or goes bad too quickly?

Wrap your celery in aluminum foil and it will stay good and crunchy for so much longer. It even helps to put the crunch back in your celery.

Give it a try and let me know what you think!

For dinner tonight:
Pizza
Breadsticks

Prep for tomorrow: Defrost ground beef for Spinach & Oats Meat Loaf

The foil doesn't leave a funny taste? I will chop mine and freeze it & use it when needed. I do this to onions too.

The foil doesn't leave a funny taste as I actually leave it in the bag from the store and then cover it in foil.

I like your idea of freezing it. I have chopped and cooked onions and then put them in the freezer. I never thought about doing celery or raw onions. Great idea!
