Do you want a tip to make kitchen clean up easier after dinner? Clean as you go.
First thing I do is run a sink full of hot soapy water. Then I get all my ingredients out. I chop everything that needs to be chopped starting with vegetables then any meats. As I chop I clean up with the dish towel that is in the sink. (Especially cleaning after cutting up the meats.) This allows me to get my hands in water to clean them up before touching anything else.
If anything spills over as I am cooking I have water ready to clean up. And, as pans are done I give them a quick soak and rinse. Also, after dinner, everyone can put their dirty dishes in the sink. This way if I don't get to them right away they will still be easy to clean up, as nothing has a chance to dry on.
Do you have a tip for easy clean up in the kitchen?
