Calzones

Ingredients
Dough
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup water
1 tablespoon oil
2 1/4 teaspoons (or 1 package) dry yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Filling
8 ounces Meat (cooked and diced)
3 to 4 tablespoons of chopped veggies
4 ounces cheese

Directions

  1. Combine the dough ingredients in a bread machine (use the "dough" setting), or combine by hand and knead until elastic.
  2. Divide the dough into 6 balls.
  3. Roll each into a 6 or 7 inch circle on a floured surface.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the filling ingredients.
  5. Place one-sixth of the filling in the center of a dough circle, fold in half, and pinch the edges shut.
  6. Repeat with the other circles.
  7. Place the calzones on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
