Slow Cooker Sweet-and-Sour Meatballs

1 jar (9 to 10 ounces) sweet-and sour sauce
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 1/2 pounds frozen meatballs (you can use Basic Freezer Meatballs)
2 bell peppers (1 red and 1 green), chopped
1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks, drained


  1. Place all ingredients in a 4 quart or larger slow cooker; stir gently then cover with the lid.
  2. Cook on low setting for 7 to 8 hours, or on high setting for 4 to 6 hours, until done.
  3. Carefully remove lid to allow steam to escape; serve.
