Tickle Tag

Mommy Aerobics

My daughter loves to play tag, but she gets upset when I catch her too quickly, and she tells me to go slow when she is it.  So, I came up with Tickle Tag.  Both of my kids love it and we just play and play and play.

Rules of Tickle Tag
  1. Mommy is always it. (or Daddy, you get the idea)
  2. Catch child, tickle them, then release.
  3. Catch another child, tickle them, then release.
  4. Continue catching each child in order.
Why it is so fun?  Nobody is upset because they are it.  Kids eventually get caught, even if they are very fast, because they want to be tickled.  If you stick to an order you get more of a workout (instead of just going to closest kid) and your child will get so excited knowing they are next.

If your children are like mine they will keep wanting to play this game long after you are tired.  But, I keep going because my kids love it.  My heart and lungs get a workout.
