A great recipe for leftover turkey. I had some in my freezer that was waiting for a recipe like this.Ingredients
2 cups uncooked macaroni pasta
1/4 cup butter
1 Green Bell Pepper Chopped
2 cans (10 3/4 ozs) Cream of Chicken soup
2/3 cup milk
2 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 cups chopped cooked turkey
1/2 sleeve of buttery crackers
Directions
- Cook and drain macaroni, following package directions.
- Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat.
- Add green pepper and cook until tender.
- Blend in soup, milk, and shredded cheese.
- Cook, stirring, until cheese is melted.
- Combine cheese mixture, and turkey with macaroni.
- Transfer to a 3-quart casserole.
- Crush crackers over top of casserole.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
This is a great freezer meal too.
