Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon basil
1 teaspoon parsley
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
1 teaspoon sugar
1 loaf Italian Bread
Directions
- Mix all ingredients well, less bread.
- Cut bread into thick slices.
- Spread a generous amount of Herbed Butter on one side of the bread.
- Place bread on grill and cook until bottom is toasted. (I put my bread on the warming rack on the grill. If you don't have a warming rack put toast on coolest part of grill and watch closely to make sure it doesn't burn.)
Note: I always check my grocery's bakery section for manager specials on bread. I got my Italian bread for $.79!
