I have read that if you use frozen meats in your crock pot it takes so long for the temp. to reach safe levels that you risk bacteria growth.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;But, if you don't have small children at home and you want to just throw frozen chicken in I would start the crock pot on high to start.
